Your words so perfectly described the physical panic that acute trauma can bring to a person. I am waiting for my order of The Wild Impossibility to arrive (hopefully any day now) but I couldn't stop myself from reading your first chapter. I think this may be the first book that I will be able to read and finish in two years. Hoping and praying that it will not only enlighten me but also help to heal my heart.

This book should be in every public library, and in every bookstore. Not only is it beautifully written and heartfelt, but I really cared about the characters, which is always the most important thing to me when choosing a book to read. It shines a spotlight on a very ugly part of American history and in an era where many Americans are choosing to ignore the ugliness (removing Roberto Clemente's biography from Florida public schools? REALLY???!!!) it is more important than ever to make a stand and say "This happened. And it must never happen again." Keep fighting the good fight, Cheryl!

Your words can make a difference.
