Thanks for that info Cheryl. I’ve made a note to visit next week. Looks as though it’s about 50 minutes from us but I’m sure we can tie it in with something else

Lots to do in Perugia, so make a day of it! I goofed on the date of the inauguration, it’s Saturday at 4:30. After that the hours are 4-7pm, reservations at 3470583608. Have fun!

Holy moly, this sounds like a place to visit that is off the chocolate beaten path. Bravi to the volunteers and workers who brought a past art alive. I can only imagine how wonderful it smells (like candles and incense in a church at high holidays).

Love this story. There used to be a great candle shop in Milano in Brera but it's gone now-- Perugia is closer anyway to where we live in Marche. Look forward to seeing this shop on our next visit. It's inspiring to hear about the work of the soci in transforming the neighborhood.

Cheryl, this is really amazing! Thank you for sharing! I wish I live in the area to visit it but it's too far away. I will keep it in mind, anyway ;-)
