Congratulations on the publishing news but I have to share my own experience with a small press rushing me to publication...
I was pleased my book would come out so quickly and I loved my editor (I am an.editor so that's such a huge thing) but we missed a lot of pre-publication press because of the accelerated timeline.
Make sure your publisher has ARCs in May or June for the big pre-publication reviewers like Library Journal, Kirkus, Foreword, etc., as many of the reviewers want the book 4 to 6 months in advance.
Excellent news. It's hard enough for us authors to get any reviews so we don't want to miss deadlines. I highly recommend the Readers Favorites reviews and the Midwest Book Review. In depth reviewing and quick turnaround available.
Gorgeous post-- those photos of the opera house are incredible. I had no idea. I've always wanted to get to La Scala and Fenice in Venice. But now this one is also a must. What a space!!!
And thanks for the tip about godersi. That's a distinction I definitely need to come to grips with.
Thanks! La Scala is worth a visit, but La Fenice is a gem. I saw an incredible performance by pianist Yuja Wang there. Hey, somebody’s got to make the language gaffes; might as well be me! You’re welcome.
Evviva per il tuo libro secondo!!🙌
As for godersi…. Oops! 😆

Best of luck!
Thanks so much! ARCs should be ready in June, so we should be ok. But I appreciate your sounding the alarm. And now I’ll go look for your book/s. :-)
