Yes! A funny comedy of misunderstandings about finding a community away from home, bonding over theatre, and building bridges over culture and language gaps!
I give you full credit for translating from English into Italian. I'm confident translating from French into English, but very insecure about the reverse. Brava!
This sounds incredible-- even with all of the obstacles, it's an irresistible story. I'm blown away by your bravery in taking on the translations, much less the organization of the whole enterprise. Congratulations. I would so love to come over to Perugia from Marche and see the next production. Absolutely inspirational.
Thank you! I think I remember you saying you were interested in the show and I’m so lame marketing-wise that I didn’t post the dates! So sorry. I’ll try to do better next time. It would be a treat to meet you!
Wow. Impressive. Good on you and your troupe for putting so much energy and talent into the project.
If you are interested, I wrote a play sometime ago called WopSong: Tune and Echo. It has parts written in English for the English speaking characters and in Italian for the Italian characters. The gist of the play, which goes in a circle of time, is the dissipation of connection with the Italian homeland over four generations, and its recovery by an aging rock star who returns to his great grandfather's mountain village, ostensibly to record an acoustic album. A staged reading would be fun, I think.
Teatro Immediato, I'm so impressed by this! Brava!!!
I think this has all the makings of a delightful little film 💜💜
Thanks so much, Kristin! A film? Who knows!

Thanks! I can't imagine French is any easier—or any language, for that matter! Bravo to you too!
Congratulations on Teatro Immediato

Thanks, Jan!
